Did you know that only a small group of African Americans occupy curatorial positions at mainstream museums, relatively few African-American artists have been given major solo museum shows?

A recent article published by Artsy highlights Art World leaders such as Lowery Stokes Sims, who was the first Black curator at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and whose careers have been dedicated to equality in the Art World. Sims is currently curating CCCADI's Home Exhibition, opening this Fall as part of our opening ceremonies.
