Spirit SouSou!: Honoring our Ancestors!
SouSou Saturdays are monthly family-oriented art-making, dance, and music workshops held every second Saturday of the month at the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute.
October is known for the great spirit celebrations of Dia de Los Muertos and Halloween, African descendants too have unique and beautiful traditions to honor departed family members. Color, light, and movement are all beautiful elements used to celebrate our ancestors.
