For this event series, we remix the “soapbox” Harlem tradition of street corner speakers “preaching” to the community on the issues, topics, and concerns of the day with poetry. Community leaders from Hubert Harrison, Marcus Garvey, Malcom X, to A. Philip Randolph all were “soapbox” speakers.

This session features multidisciplinary artists (D-Black) and Charnae Betton.
